Potty Training BoysSuccess Stories They say potty training boys takes longer than it does for girls. But what’s your opinion? Was your little guy an exception to this rule? Or maybe you just have a funny story you’d like to share. Whatever your experience, share it with us and other parents. You never know, your tales of triumph may just be the inspiration someone needs to get started! Hi there,
I have a boy who will be 2 next months. I found you’re program on the Internet and ordered it. Let me tell you it is the best investment I have ever made. My son was willing to sit on the potty but he wanted to wear a diaper instead of real underwear. I followed the plan and we had only 2 accidents the first day, the second day we had none and he has not had a diaper on for a 6 days. Yesterday he went in the bathroom, and when he did not come out fairly soon, I went to check on him and he was on the toilet going poop and he was so proud of himself when he was done.
Thanks a lot for the idea. There are two other children in our church who are his age, and they both still wear diapers. I told them to go to your web site because it really does work. Pamela SuccessDate:11/30/2005 |
Hi there!
I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you so much for such a quick and easy way to potty train my 2 1/2 year old son! We started Monday, went through a lot of underwear and tantrums. Had a dry night Monday night. By Tuesday afternoon he was running to that potty! I was amazed! He had one accident on Tuesday, but only because he did not make it in time. Not one accident since then, and it has almost been a week! I am telling all the other moms I know about your website! Thank you so much for an easy plan to follow! No more diapers! Thank God! And thank you for sharing! Bonnie SuccessDate:08/30/2006 |
Thank you sooo much Lora. I have to tell you I was a little skeptical in the beginning, however now I am a firm believer. My son who is 3 1/2 is now potty trained thanks to your method. I followed your steps and it worked!! I am so proud of him, and he is so proud of himself. We only had 1 accident the first day, (knock on wood). I couldn't believe that he woke up dry in the mornings. When you talk with other parent’s whos children are 4 always saying their child still wears pull-ups to bed at night. Amazing!! My daughter, who just turned 2, likes to try and sit on the potty. Thought we should get through 1 child first before starting the next. Thanks again!! You have saved my sanity and my son's!!! I am so happy I purchased your Potty Training Guide. It has saved my sanity. I was so amazed after the first night my son woke up dry. I have friends who's children are 4 and they say their children still have to wear pull ups to bed at night. How is it that my son can go all day and night with no accidents and others still wet the bed at night? I am soooo grateful I discovered your website. Thanks sooo much!!!! First, thanks a lot for the book, I cannot believe we have started Saturday and day two with potty-training my 3- year old son, after a whole night with no "accidents"…and the whole morning without any as well! And yesterday, at the end of "day one" after only four "accidents" he went to pee on the potty all by himself, took of his underwear himself and did not even ask for help first :-) !!
And this despite everybody is telling us to wait, that he will let us know when he is ready etc etc…
Again, thanks for the advice in the book, I really hope this is it and he won't need any more diapers, but how do we solve the daycare-question? Hope you can help. Julie P. SuccessDate:10/26/2005 |
Thanks for coming back to me so fast. Today there was only two "accidents" versus four yesterday, so it is definitely not bad for day number two!
Again, I cannot believe how well this is going, we are going to try to give the daycare -people his potty on Monday and ask them not to put diapers on him but at the same time ask them to see if they can make him go on the toilet there, when he sees the other kids do the same he might agree. Definitely worth trying! I am still worried they might insist on putting a diaper on him if he wets himself more than once when they are playing outside though.
Thanks again for the book, if it really does work after three days it is a miracle! The Cartwrights SuccessDate:05/12/2006 |
