Potty Training BoysSuccess Stories They say potty training boys takes longer than it does for girls. But what’s your opinion? Was your little guy an exception to this rule? Or maybe you just have a funny story you’d like to share. Whatever your experience, share it with us and other parents. You never know, your tales of triumph may just be the inspiration someone needs to get started! Hello my name is Lesley and I am the mother of a almost 4 year old little boy, and we have had such a struggle with the potty training. We tried everything from small bribes to spanking - when he messed himself on the 6th of jan we put him in underwear during the day and told him that if he messed in them then he would have to sit in it til i got to where i wanted to change them. It is now Jan 10th and he has went in the potty everytime and hasnt had any accidents even when he has been at preschool so my advice is as soon as your child is showing signs of readiness take away the diapers and pull-ups completly and dont give them back. Its alot easier then taking the child from one to the other even if you are going out. but thats just what has worked for me. Lesley Andrews SuccessDate:01/06/2007 |
Hello!
I bought your guide over the internet on November 16, 2006. On November 27,2006 we started potty training. I followed your guide step by step and my son who is 3 has done exceptionally well. It took us three days and since then he has had very few accidents and absolutely no wetting the bed at all. He has become such a big boy now and is very proud of himself every time he has to go potty. He never became constipated either.Your guide was wonderful.THANK YOU! Hello!
I bought your book more than a month ago, but decided that this past weekend was D-Day, and true enough, it worked like a charm! My son is a little over 3 years old, and I never really formally trained him to use the toilet until your book. He was introduced to the potty before, which he did not want to have anything to do with; and he was on and off with signs of readiness. But thanks to your book, he pretty much runs to bathroom by himself now. I have to say, it did get a bit frustrating there for a while. But now I’m thinking, it’s all worth it. Because I am a working mother, this 4th day worried me because it is my son’s first day with the sitter, and I am concerned that he may not respond as well as he did for me at our home. But I just checked up on him earlier, and he is doing well. Thanks so much! Angela Sanders SuccessDate:05/27/2006 |
I just wanted to say thank you for your guide. We did the three days back in June and it worked! Before I bought your book I thought my won would never learn how to use the potty! He turns 4 this weekend and I am thrilled he is out of pull-ups. Ani SuccessDate:06/11/2006 |
I just want to thank you for your helpful potty training guide. I'm a mother on one very independent and strong-willed little guy. I was frustrated trying to train him to use the potty. I thought I could do it because after all, I'm a former preschool teacher of 10 years. So, I looked to the Internet for help. I admit I was a skeptic, but after the testimonials and now our own testimony, I understand! By reading your guide I discovered I was the hindrance, not him…Thank you again. Judith R. I just really wanted to give you huge thanks. It has been 4 days now since we started your potty training method, and my son has not had a single accident since the middle of day 2. He has not wet his bed yet, and hasn't pooped in his underwear since day 1. Today I took him out to celebrate for most of the day, and we didn't have a single accident. This has really just been amazing for us. Again, thank you so much! The Gupta Family SuccessDate:03/06/2006 |
